Dr. Pooria Shahin, DDS
After completing his undergraduate degree with honors from Emory University in Atlanta in just three years, Dr. Pooria Shahin attended Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. Graduating with honors, he received his doctorate in dental surgery in 2009. Dr. Shahin completed his Surgical/General Practice residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Since that time, he has managed and built Brooklyn Dental Spa. Dedicated to providing the finest quality dental care for the Brooklyn community and attaining very high levels of patient satisfaction, Dr. Shahin has seen his patient population grow tremendously. He looks forward to serving his loyal community for many years to come.

I really love this dentist office near Mill Basin, Brooklyn, even though I’m not a fan of going to the dentist (probably more than most people). The doctor is excellent—professional, approachable, and great at explaining everything in detail without making you feel rushed. The only downside is that they don’t accept all insurance plans. I’ve had to visit quite a few times this year (unfortunately! 😂), but I highly recommend Brooklyn Dentist!
The staff and doctors of Brooklyn Dentist are outstanding. Having a crown put in place in just one appointment was incredible—it saved time while still providing excellent results. I travel from Florida to New York city for all my dental needs because of the exceptional service.
